Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)
HOSA is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in Heath Sciences Technical Education programs. HOSA is 100% health care!
HOSA is an intra-curricular organization that is organized and run by all students enrolled in health care programs.
SkillsUSA
SkillsUSA is an applied method of instruction for preparing America’s high performance workers in public career and technical programs. It provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
Student in Aviation, Manufacturing, Skilled Trades and Transportation programs are encouraged to join SkillsUSA and compete in state and possibly national competition each year. WATC’s consistently place very high in the state and national competitions.
