Workforce Education and Development
Your Single Source for Workforce Training

We do the stuff that sticks.

When we began designing our training programs at WATC, we didn’t assume what the market needed, we asked our clients “What is the number one problem we can solve for you — the one that will truly satisfy your training needs?”

We heard the answer repeated time and time again — from our small business retailers to our big business manufacturers — “We need training that sticks.”

WATC is dedicated to higher and better use of knowledge, so this directive reinforced our very purpose as community servants. It made sense, so this is what we are committed to provide — the stuff that sticks.

It sounds simple, but we’re okay with that. We want to keep it simple for our clients — businesses like yours. You have plenty of tasks, duties and other obligations in the day-to-day operations of your business. We want you to have the freedom to focus on business. We’ll commit to focus on the training you need.

How does it work?

We have an initial conversation with you to learn about your needs — initial conversations are always on us. We won’t assume, we will assess. We’ll ask the questions, work with you unobtrusively and do the groundwork to develop the best solutions for your training needs. We’ll develop the training that nails the challenges. We’ll deliver an engaging, highly interactive program and follow up providing ongoing tools to “make it stick.”

To find out how your business can benefit from training that pays dividends long after the laptops and flipcharts are packed away, contact us today.

Online Learning Partners with MEDS Publishing
Evening Practical Nurse students are now taking part in a great homework assistance software trial. WATC Online Learning has partnered with MEDS Publishing to provide its Total Nursing Curriculum Support software to these students the first week of February. The modules, which are provided with the software, give a variety of assistance to learners and are designed to follow students from their first course in a nursing program until they pass their Kansas State Board of Nursing exams.
Online Learning is able to pilot this software package with the evening Practical Nurse students through grant money. If the pilot proves successful, the program will be expanded to include all Practical Nurse students. We hope this software will help students achieve their educational goals and open the doors to success.

Questions concerning this partnership should be directed to Paul Jackson, director, Online Learning.
